Competition Rules
2014.1 Innovate Students Mental Arithmetic Online Competition
1. Objective: To encourage students and to elevate Innovate abacus mental arithmetic standard.
2. Organiser: Innovate Corporate Office, Malaysia.
3. Co-organiser: Innovate Authorised Centres.
4. Participants: Innovate Students.
5. Number of participants: Unlimited.
6. Competition date: 2014.1.1 - 2014.1.31 (1 month).
7. Competition venue: Anywhere
8. Registration closing date: 2013.12.31.(last day of previous month).
9. Calculation method: abacus arithmetic or mental arithmetic.
10. Registration method: Online registration.
11. Registration fee: free.
12. Award for positions:
a. 1st prize winner will receive cash MYR100.
b. From total registration, 24% will be awarded:
8% - Gold award, 8% - Silver award, 8% -Bronze award
*Participants will receive participation award only if exceeds minimum 5000 numbers
13. Remark:
a. Winner: Cash award, gold awards, silver awards, bronze awards & participation award from Malaysia ->send to Country Main Office (CMO)-> pass to Authorised Centre’s principal -> pass to winners.
b. Individual Country Main Office (CMO) is required to award to individual country top winners equivalent of MYR50 (convert to local currency).
Top winners to receive the cash award only after verification with its local Authorised Centre.
c. Innovate Corporate Office will honour the principal of World Champion.
d. The first prize winner (World Champion) of previous competition, if win again this time will be awarded the second place.
e. Anyone found cheating (e.g. get a third party to do the online practice on his/her behalf, not using Innovate methodology, etc).will be disqualified from the competition.
